ABOUT US - CHRISTOPHER ROCKEY
After college
Christopher Rockey had three major career paths that
all seemed to intertwine. Mr. Rockey has primarily first and foremost always been a
Mortgage Broker in the greater Sacramento Valley after moving there from San Jose California. Mr. Rockey through his mortgage banking connections
got into working with a Venture Capital company and sat on the Board of Directors for BREPA Resources LLC. (Businesses, Real Estate and Paper Assets)
which were the primary focus of the investment core that BREPA Resources LLC invested in. By 2006 Christopher Rockey was managing a multi platform
hedge fund and he has had the unique observation of witnessing the processing, bundling, and selling of both Mortgage Backed Securities (MBS)
and Collateralized Debt Obligations (CDO) beyond securities Mr. Rockey also was heavily involved in the Foreign Exchange markets.
In 2007
Christopher Rockey had to make a conscience decision of
what side of the foreclosure market he wanted to participate in, pre or post foreclosure.
Mr. Rockey decided to specialize in pre foreclosure to help Realtors® and homeowners to have an understanding of all the options to avoid
foreclosure, beyond just Short Sale. This is the synergistic foundation of the FACS certification course.
Christopher Rockey partnered up
with Scott Thompson in 2007 to help complete the acquisition of Mortgage Resolution Services to Fidelity National financial (NYSE: FNF)
Christopher was asked to take the position of Director of Education for Mortgage resolution Services when the FNF acquisition
was completed on April 1st of 2008.
Christopher likes agents to know that out of all his journeys for the last few years the only one he is truly proud of or boasts about is earning the AAGG
designation. He is one of only a handful of agents that has received this certification. If you are curious as to what it is, All Around Great Guy!
Although not necessarily carrying the same weight as FACS, he hopes all agents will achieve their AAGG also!
Christopher Rockey is single and still lives in Sacramento about three days a month when not teaching the nationally endorsed
Foreclosure Alternatives Consultant certification course.
